Indian weddings are traditionally multi-day affairs, and involve many intricate ceremonies, such as the painting of the hands and feet of the bride called a mehndi. Garlands are presented to guests of honor instead of corsages, and lots of flower or rose petals are thrown for good luck.

Summing it all up in just one single word. Indian Marriages are ‘alluring’. Now,everyone has their favourite part of the weddings. Meeting relatives,dancing,stealing the groom’s shoes etc etc . Well,my favourite part are the outfits (and food!).

Weddings are the perfect place to witness the beauty of our ethnic clothes. Everyone is dressed up in all gilter and gold.

Shopping for the outfits for a wedding is fun but the price isn’t. A good decent outfit is so pricey,that it becomes absurd to spend so much on an outfit that you need for just a one time occassion.

Now,should you forget about that beautiful lahenga in which you looked like a million bucks?

The second one is a colour block lehenga by Yosshita and Neha,which I wore for the main event. With a lehenga this beautiful,you don’t even need to go overboard with the accessories. However,I wish I had my long hair to justify the beauty of this lehenga.
