On Thrusday, 29th July 2016, a fun filled and adrenaline driven event was held in Mumbai. Adidas held this event for the launch of the new season collection of Pure BOOST X & Pure BOOST ZG.
About Pure Boost X:
Adidas hopes to empower female athletes with the release of the PureBOOST X, an innovative running shoe specifically designed for women. While most shoes are typically an adaptation of an existing men’s silhouette, the PureBOOST X considers only what women demand from their active lifestyles.
Adidas addressed their most pertinent issues by creating a sporty-looking shoe that’s high on both performance and style. It features a unique stretch mesh upper, with a floating arch detail that wraps underneath the midfoot; both act to deliver support under all circumstances. A BOOST midsole, the most technologically advanced cushioning material on the market today, ensures maximum energy return. Finally, natural foot movements are unrestricted thanks to a Stretch Web outsole.
About Pure Boost ZG : Adidas’ Running division has unveiled its latest athletic silhouette, the Pure Boost ZG Prime. Signature Boost technology, which seems to be inescapable these days, is used as cushioning for the midsole, while a Primeknit upper, another one of adidas’ most important feats of innovation, drapes the upper. Additional features include a dynamic fit system which hugs the foot and a molded heel cap.

In a unique concept of its kind, Adidas hosted the first ever Urban Running- Scavenger Hunt to launch the new collection of Pure Silos in India!
A scavenger hunt between Pure BOOST X & Pure BOOST ZG teams was organised at Priyadarshini Park followed by a run between Marine Drive & Nariman Point. The run culminated into the launch party!
The event saw enthusiastic players who ran, even when it was rainning real hard! Well, I guess it is true what they say, if you train your mind, you can do absolutely everything.
The result was that Team Boost X won! And after all the sweating, it was time for celebrations. The party was held at Asilo, Mumbai.
Which was again very fun. An interesting game was organised where we were given cards, on which 10-15 categories were mentioned like Spot someone who’s atheletic attire is on point, someone who is a model etc. And we had to acually go to that person who fitted the best in the category and get their signatures. Ain’t a fun way to break the ice and meet new people!
After the event, we all went back home and what remained with us was this little gift by Adidas. What a great way to start the day, look yourself in the mirror and say ‘I am positive energy.’ Adidas knows which strings to pull when it comes to motivating someone with immense energy to conquer the world!
