It is hard to keep track of the number of eateries which open and shut in Mumbai. Only a few manage to stand out and create a lasting impact, which makes us want to go there again and again.
Blanco is a restro bar newly opened in Andheri, Lokhandwala. It is a Santorini- inspired, Grecian- themed rooftop bar and eatery. The interiors of this place is the heart of it, very impressive and beautiful. The 4,000 square feet open space with aztec walls, creepers and umbrella lights gives it a relaxed vibe. You can pick low seating, private cabanas, step seating or dispersed table for two.
Food
The multi-cuisine food menu will list chimichangas; lamb dumpling; fish and chips; chicken teriyaki wrap; mac and cheese; mushroom tart; and masala Maggi. We ordered for cheese bruschetta, fish fingers, meat balls served with spicy gravy and Kung Pao Chicken. The cheese was fresh, chicken was rightly cooked and I never, ever had fish fingers so good. Soft with no tiny bones inside and a crispy exterior. My suggestion: Try the Grill House dish which serves you steak of your choice, cooked infront of you.
In drinks, we tried the ‘thandai’ , peach mocktail and a fresh fusion of mint, cucumber and lemon.
The Interior
As said earlier, Blanco’s interior is the heart of this place. You will spot fresh and beautiful corners where ever you look.
We ended our meal on a sweet note with a Blueberry Cheese Cake.
If you are looking for a pretty place to chill with your friends over a beer, hookah and great food then Blanco is the right match.
