How To Market your Wooplr Store

Wooplr is making one’s entrepreneurial dreams come true with just a simple sign up! Within minutes, you can set up your store, start selling and earn. Easy Peazy!

Okay, maybe not that easy. With the rising competition, it is tough to make your store shine above hundred others. Let me tell you how I managed to that.

I was one of the very first few influencers who was contacted by Wooplr, to create an online store with them. Earlier known as MyStore; at the time I set up my store, you could customize it complete with banners of your brand name and personalized collections. Now, Wooplr has made the layout and collections uniform for all.

There was a lot of chaos after this change. The debate was, now that everything is similar for all, the “influencers” have a greater chance of making sales than the non-influencers. However, I think that this change just gave everyone an equal opportunity to ace.

Here are few tips on how you can market your Wooplr store:-

1. User experience
Wooplr is already doing more than half of your work. They have a lot of brands on their platform, the website layout is user-friendly, logistics is completely taken care of and all you have to do is, market it right and the sale will happen. Your audience is what matters.
So, think of a brand name, something unique which will make you stand out in this cliched choked up a market. Keep it simple, something which the audience can easily connect or trust. Now, think of your target audience. Is it school, college students, office goers or your mommy’s friends. The reason why I want you to focus on this is that you’ll need to plan your collections accordingly.
Next step, create social media pages of your brand.

2.Creative content

You will need to invest in a solid content marketing strategy that engages your audience. Create content that is unique and fresh as it can have a strong impact on your target market.

From communicating your brand’s message to engaging your customers with information, content is supreme as it gives something useful to your potential customers.

Apps like Canva and Spark post, lets you create interesting ads for your social media posts.

3.Social media platforms

Your online presence and identity begins with your website and social media platforms. So you can engage your audience, communicate your message with powerful content through a strong social media platform.

As a startup, one of the first things that you probably worked on was an active social media strategy.

You know that in this business industry, social media is the key to leveraging your brand awareness and value.

Apps like SnapChat and Instagram are becoming popular and engaging the audience with brand names.

4. Facebook ads

Facebook ads have a good conversion rate if you do it right. Take this for an example, there is an ethnic sale on Wooplr and you want to get the maximum out of it. Create an interesting ad and boost it. When you are selecting your target audience, do it right. For such an ad, I would have set my demographics to 25-45, females living in India. The reason why I chose a higher age bracket is that the scroll time of our elders is slow in comparison to our generation who can scroll 10000 memes in 5 minutes. So, it is most likely that the ad gets seen by them, suiting their requirements and hopefully, gets converted into sales.

Try to invest a little in your marketing budget and for sure, your sales will get a hike.

5.Video marketing is seeing an upward trend

Videos are powerful tools to communicate extensively. Consider Facebook Live, Instagram Stories, and SnapChat stories to engage your audience.

You can hold live sessions for product launch announcements, hold tutorials, and answer questions in real time. This gives a tangible feeling to your audience and helps them connect more closely with your brand and product.

The audience is everything here. Keep yourself updated with the current fashion trends, so that it is sync with what you market on your platform. Actively interact with your audience. Remember, while social media works great for marketing. Old techniques, like Word Of Mouth, WhatsApp broadcasts and influencing your mommy’s kitty party friends to buy, works just fine too.

Stay creative and original.
